Coles has announced dedicated shopping hours for healthcare workers, including doctors and nurses. Starting on Thursday 26 March, the first hour of trade on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be for emergency services and healthcare workers.

Reduced car rental rates from East Coast Car Rentals

We are a small Australian car rental company, and we would like to offer our support to healthcare workers of essential services.  We understand health professionals may find it difficult getting to work in some cases given the current circumstances or would like to avoid using public transport as a precaution.  
We would like to offer our vehicles to healthcare workers of essential services at a dramatically reduced rate.  This offer is open to Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Police, Midwives, Health Care Workers, Aged Care Workers and any other Government/Health related service deemed as essential during this crisis. 

  • A flat weekly rate of $50 for all vehicle classes
  • Up to 200 kilometres free per day, or 1400 kilometres a week
  • $900 excess, or;
  • Reduce your excess to $150 for $5.50 per day
